Redskins’ left tackle Trent Williams has been working out in Oklahoma, electing to skip out on the team’s OTAs. In the meantime, he took time out to check out Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland on Friday. No problem there. However, what may anger some in a heap of overreaction is who he was sitting next to courtside of the Quicken Loans Arena.

Next to Williams was New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Yes, the Odell Beckham Jr. that Redskins fans have grown to dislike. Like Williams, Beckham Jr. has elected to skip his team’s OTAs.

Enjoying an NBA Finals game while skipping out voluntary organized team activities won’t make or break either Williams or Beckham’s seasons. However, it’s sure to get those fans riled up, who don’t understand players are friends with other players of the opposing team even when it involves a hated rival.
With that said, it would be interesting to see how Redskins’ cornerback Josh Norman feels about his teammate hanging out with his archenemy.
