It may not be the shoe deal he has been searching for, but Washington Wizards point guard John Wall does have a new endorsement deal. Wall revealed via Instagram he is the latest brand ambassador for New Era. The cap company is adding Draymond Green, D’Angelo Russell, and Wall to go along with Paul George.
Wall is coming off a breakout season in which he averaged career-highs with 23.1 points, 10.7 assists, 2.0 steals, and shot 45.1 percent from the field. His superb play carried over into the playoffs, as he finished the Wizards’ postseason run with playoff career-highs of 27.2 points per game, 45.2 percent shooting from the field, and 34.4 percent from three.
His efforts earned him an All-NBA third team nod, making him eligible for a Designated Veteran Player Extension that could pay him roughly $41.25 million per season. If Wall continues to play like he did in 2016-17, the accolades and endorsements will continue to rain in.
