Markieff Morris swats back-to-back shots on one possession

Markieff Morris held a block party in the second quarter of Game 1

Sunday may be Markieff Morris first NBA playoff game, but the Washington Wizards forward is playing like he has been there before. Morris showed his lunch pail effort as he swatted not one but two shots back-to-back on one possession.

First he swatted Ersan Ilyasova at it’s apex. Then as Dwight Howard gobbled the offensive board, Morris came over the top to reject Howard’s shot out of bounds.

Morris gave out a huge yell. He finished the half with 10 points and three blocks to keep the Wizards within striking distance against the Atlanta Hawks.
