Leafs’ Roman Polak exits Game 2 after landing awkwardly on leg after hit from Brooks Orpik


The Toronto Maple Leafs’ chances of beating the Washington Capitals in their first round Stanley Cup playoff series took a serious blow in Game 2. Defensman Roman Polak left the game in the second period after taking a hit from Capitals’ defenseman Brooks Orpik.

Polak lay on the ice for several moments and could not put any weight on his leg.

Toronto is already without defenseman Nikita Zaitsev with an injury.
