Georgetown involved in traffic accident on way to game vs. Villanova

The Georgetown Hoyas men’s basketball team was involved in a traffic accident on their way to Philadelphia to face the defending NCAA Division I champions Villanova.
The accident occurred Monday afternoon. The bus was involved with another vehicle on I-95 North just outside of Baltimore. No major injuries were reported, Hoyas’ team spokesman Mex Carey stated in an email.
“The Georgetown University men’s basketball team’s bus was involved in a traffic accident on Monday while traveling to Pennsylvania for a game on Tuesday. The accident involved another vehicle and occurred on I-95 North outside of Baltimore. There were no major injuries to members of the team. The company provided another bus for the team to continue its trip.”
Georgetown will face the Wildcats Tuesday night as scheduled. The Hoyas will look to bounce back from their 68-66 loss to Seton Hall on Saturday.
