Arkansas leading receiver Drew Morgan’s college career ended prematurely on Thursday, as he was ejected from the Belk Bowl with 5:44 remaining in the game. Initially it was unclear to why he was being ejected. But Razorbacks head coach Brett Bielema told reporters following Virginia Tech’s 35-24 win, Morgan was ejected for spitting in one of the Hokies’ players face.
Bielema called Morgan’s actions “very embarrassing” for the Razorbacks’ program, according to Mike Barber of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
