Perry Hills rebounds by tossing two bombs for TDs on back-to-back possessions

Perry Hills has awaken and is letting it rip against Boston College in the second half of the Quick Lane Bowl.

Maryland’s offense finally shook of its rust. After turning the football over three times, leading to a 36-13 deficit early in the third quarter, the Terrapins offense has awaken in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit. Perry Hills connected with two bombs for touchdowns on back-to-back possessions to pull Maryland within nine of Boston College 36-27.

Hills first connected with Teldrick Morgan for a 63-yard touchdown pass. Hills froze the defense with the playaction and Morgan blew past Eagles’ defensive back William Harris down the seam for the easy catch and score.

After scoring on a two-play drive, the Terrapins defense forced a three-and-out from the Boston College offense. Then the Terrapins offense went back to work with another two-play drive, highlighted by Hills connecting with Levern Jacobs on a 52-yard touchdown pass.

The ball was under thrown but Jacobs made a great adjustment with the ball in the air. He then sprinted away from the defense for Maryland’s second touchdown in three offensive snaps.

Hills completed 4-of-4 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns on the two scoring drives combined. He is 8-of-20 for 60 yards and one interception the rest of the game.
