Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo could not hold his excitement after his football team upset sixth-ranked Houston 46-40 on Saturday.
Niumatalolo could not contain himself as the final seconds ticked off the clock.
The win put the Midshipmen in first place of the American Athletic Conference West division. It also was its first win over an AP top-10 since 1984, when the Midshipmen stunned No. 2 South Carolina.
So it was understandable to see the coach run off in excitement. He was not the only one feeling elated by the victory. The excitement of the victory carried over to the superintendent, as classes for Tuesday was later cancelled in celebration of the win.
