Navy celebrates first win over AP top-10 team by canceling classes.
How do you celebrate your first win over an AP top-10 team since 1984?
You cancel classes.
No classes Tuesday! The Supe gave the mids liberty in celebration of our win over Houston! #GoNavy

Yes, that’s what the Naval Academy did after its football team upset No. 6 Houston on Saturday. Students were off on Monday thanks to it being Columbus Day, now they will get another day away from the classroom thanks to their improbable win.
The Midshipmen shocked the Cougars, essentially ending any chance Houston had of making the College Football Playoffs. Navy did so by rushing for 305 yards and two touchdowns. The defense intercepted Houston quarterback Greg Ward twice, while Navy quarterback Will Worth had 191 total yards and scored three touchdowns.
