The Arizona Cardinals will start the second half of its season after a bye last week. Drew Stanton is now the signal caller. The Los Angeles Chargers keep finding ways to lose. Now, they are just handing points away. The Baltimore Ravens got a much needed win over the Dolphins. However it came with a price of its QB getting knocked senseless.
The New York Jets are playing hard against just about everyone this season. They cannot close out games, which is a sign of a bad team. The Oakland Raiders are just not clicking consistently. Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills shows they are truly pretenders. The Green Bay Packers’ season is all about Aaron Rodgers broken collarbone. The Chicago Bears met a freight train named Mark Ingram and the New Orleans Saints last week. Let’s see if they can rebound. The Denver Broncos are trying any and everything to salvage their season which is being ruined by QB play. Trevor Siemian is out. Brock Osweiler is in. That’s not necessarily a solution.
The Detroit Lions did everything right against the Pittsburgh Steelers except score in the red zone. Five trips and no touchdowns haunted them. The Washington Redskins are a MASH unit right now. 21 players were on the injury report on Wednesday. The Tennessee Titans are coming off a bye with the AFC South division title in sight. The Houston Texans have them a franchise QB in Deshaun Watson and a dynamite duo at wide receiver. The wins will come soon. The Dallas Cowboys‘ season has been overshadowed by the Ezekiel Elliott saga.
The Atlanta Falcons escaped defeat against the Jets. We shall see if they are back on track. The Carolina Panthers traded Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton does not understand the move. Neither do we. The Minnesota Vikings are doing just fine with Case Keenum at QB. The Seattle Seahawks just quietly keep winning. Although, Sunday’s 41-38 win over Houston was not quiet. Russell Wilson has entered the MVP discussion as well. The New Orleans Saints are rolling and they have the best CB in the NFL, per Pro Football Focus.
We will see what the Los Angeles Rams are made off. They have the Vikings, Saints, Eagles, and Texans in four of the next six weeks. The Buffalo Bills have proven they are one of the better teams in the NFL thus far. Their resume speaks for itself and now they get Kelvin Benjamin at WR. The Kansas City Chiefs have the best TE in the NFL in Travis Kelce. He has become a stud in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers have gained control of the Martavis Bryant situation. JuJu Smith-Schuster has benefited from it. Now the Steelers hope to move on from the matter with the AFC title in sight. The Jacksonville Jaguars have somehow improved their already dominating defense with acquiring DT Marcell Dareus.
So much for the Tom Brady-Jimmy Garoppolo drama. The New England Patriots traded their Steve Young to keep their Joe Montana. Just can’t blame them. Brady has at this point defied father time. The Philadelphia Eagles may have gotten even better. That’s right the best team in the NFL got stronger by adding Jay Ajayi at RB.
